About Troy Farmer
About me and my journey, I started playing golf in high school and loved it so much I decided to move to Hawaii and pursue my passion for golf. After working my way up the ladder and passing my player ability test, I moved back to the states to raise a family where my wife and I have raised two wonderful kids that are now on their own and thriving.
I then attempted to pursue my golf career once I got back to the states. I was hired as an assistant golf pro in Idaho at two different courses and I Love teaching golf to beginners and kids. After realizing that I needed something more, I became a full-time Home Inspector but never stopped playing golf. Now fast forward to 2021 life has changed and my wife and I are living full-time in the Dominican Republic where we both have joined the famed Punta Espadada Golf Club where we play frequently and while playing we enjoy a SUPERB Dominican Cigar and a nice Whisky.
